Embark @ 5pm

Today we embark on our journey to experience incredible history, famous landmarks and unique culture in grand style!

Sept 15:
Berlin (Warnemunde), Germany
730a - 10p

It's been more than two decades since the walls came down and Berlin became unified in many ways, including the pursuit of joy. Germany's capital city is a city that balances cosmopolitan chic with a liberal undercurrent of creativity and cool. Famous landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag fascinate. The elegant Bavarian Quarter amazes.

berlin Shore Excursion Included:

The tour starts with a 3-hour transfer from the port to the city. You will share the transfer with other passengers from your ship, and then break up into your respective groups upon arrival in Berlin. There will be either a restroom available on the transfer bus and/or a pit stop before arrival for a restroom break.

You will meet your tour guide in Berlin. You'll begin by seeing some of the sights of former West Berlin, including Olympic Stadium, Kurfurtsendamm and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church – a chilling yet inspiring reminder of the consequences of war. As you make your way east, you'll drive through the Tiergarten, Berlin's central park, where at its center stands the Siegessäule (Victory Column). At the end of the park you will get out and see the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and Holocaust Memorial. Pariserplatz, Unter den Linden and the site of Hitler's Bunker are also nearby.

It is around this time that you will break for lunch. The guide will present you with some options or assist in organizing a lunch for the group. After lunch will be more sights from East Berlin, including Potsdamer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie, Topography of Terror, Gendarmenmarkt, Bebelplatz, Neue Wache Memorial, Museum Island and the Berlin Cathedral, and Alexanderplatz.

At the conclusion of the tour, the groups will reconvene and go back to their original transfer buses, and then depart back to the port.
