F.A.Q.

What if I need a roommate?

We understand that some guests may be interested in sharing accommodations to reduce costs. While the Gaymers Cruise and Zone Travel do not assign or match roommates, we encourage you to join our social media communities, where dedicated group chats are available for guests seeking a roommate.

These spaces provide an opportunity to connect with fellow travelers, get to know one another, and make roommate arrangements that feel comfortable for everyone involved. Any roommate agreements are made independently between guests.

This keeps the responsibility clearly with the travelers while still sounding welcoming and helpful.

What social media pages should I follow?

Be sure to follow the official Gaymers Cruise Facebook page, Instagram page, and Discord community. These will be your primary sources for trip updates, announcements, event information, special activities, and exciting details as we count down to sailing.

Our social channels are also a great place to connect with fellow cruisers, participate in discussions, find gaming groups, explore roommate opportunities, and join a variety of chats designed to help you make the most of your Gaymers Cruise experience.

Whether you're looking for new friends, a roommate, an RPG group, board game partners, or simply want to stay informed, our online community is the perfect place to start.

What hotel should I stay at prior to the cruise?

TBD

When is the final payment due?

Final payments need to be made in full no later than May 10, 2027.

Can I bring my child?

No, while we love that the younger kids want to join, this cruise is for adults only. We will host other cruises in the future that are family friendly.

Can I bring my own games?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring as many games as you’d like. We’ll have open gaming time available each day.

Can I pay by Zelle?

Yes!

We started taking Zelle payments last month and we found this to be a fast and FREE way to pay!
For those who don’t know what Zelle is… it is very much like a wire transfer (but it is not a wire transfer).

Everyone’s bank is different, though, so you may want to call/go in to your local bank and ask to have the maximum amount available to transfer every day.

Example: Some banks only allow $500/day transfer. Other banks will allow $1200/day.

Always be careful when making payments through Zelle to people that you do not know. There is no protection guarantee provided and you cannot reverse the fee.

The Pros for using Zelle:

  • It is FREE (no processing fees)!

  • It is instantaneous (funds will go directly to Zone Travel- so this is the absolute fastest way to make a payment)

The Cons for using Zelle:

  • Every bank is different when it comes to maximum amount available to be transferred every day. So, this may mean that you need to make multiple payments to Zone Travel, multiple days in a row.

  • It does require an app download onto your phone, and you need to set up your account with your bank information.

Can I pay by check?

Yes!

If you would like to avoid the 4%processing fees, you may pay by check.
It is very important that you pay in advance of the deadlines and allow ample time for delivery.

Payments received after the deadline could result in cancelation of your reservation or increased fees.

There are two ways to pay by check:

  • Mail the check

  • Deposit directly at a local branch

REGISTRATION

  • A completed registration form (one per household -max 2 people per registration form)

    • If you have more than 2 people from the same household going on this trip, please fill out multiple forms, as the maximum per form is 2 people.

FINAL PAYMENT

  • Payments not received on time will result in reservation cancellation without refund.

  • Additional bookings after the final payment deadline may result in higher prices, less availability and additional administrative fees.

  • Fee amounts imposed are at the discretion of Zone Travel.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation in writing must be received by Zone Travel by May 10, 2027 for appropriate refund on the land tour cost minus the following fees:

  • Commissions, Fees and Travel Insurance are non-refundable.

Zone Travel LLC and its cooperative destinations incur unrecoverable charges preparing for your trip therefore, no refunds if cancellations occur after May 10, 2027. Cancellations prior to May 10, 2027 are based on individual group bookings.

We sell a variety of travel related products from different suppliers and service providers ("Suppliers"). Each Supplier has its own terms and condition that are applicable to your particular arrangements in addition to our general terms and conditions, and you should make sure you understand them.

Zone Travel is acting as intermediary or a "Booking Agent" for products and services that are not directly supplied by us (e.g., air carriage and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). We are not a co-vendor of such products and services. You will be entering into a separate contract with such Suppliers in connection with such products and services.

By making payments to Zone Travel for this trip you are agreeing to all Terms and Conditions listed on the Zone Travel website.

Vendor Cancel policy: Each vendor has their own policies, which we have to apply. This information may vary and is listed in full detail on the contract signed for each vendor.

d. Norwegian shall have no liability for any consequential, special, contingent or incidental damage or loss whatsoever, including, without limitation, loss of profit, revenue or bargain, arising out of or in connection with the Group Agreement and Group Terms and Conditions. Travel Partner hereby waives (to the fullest extent permitted by law) any claim, lien, encumbrance or charge it may have over Norwegian cruise ships, and all rights to arrest any Norwegian vessel, in connection with any claim arising hereunder against Norwegian (without prejudice to any other rights it may have to pursue any other remedies against Norwegian). In the event that the group's cruise is canceled in its entirety and Norwegian does not otherwise offer alternative cruise arrangements, Norwegian sole obligation to travel partner is to refund monies that were paid to Norwegian.

e. Norwegian and Norwegian vessels shall have the right at all times to avail themselves and have the benefit of any limitation of liability or exoneration of liability rule, regulation or statute in the applicable forum, including, but not limited to 46 U.S. Code, Paragraphs 181-186, the International Convention Relating to Limitation of the Liability of Seagoing Ships 1957 (the Brussels Convention), and the Athens Convention Relating to the Carriage of Passengers and Their Luggage by Sea 1974 (the Athens Convention). Furthermore, Norwegian disclaims all liability to travel partner and his/her group clients for damages for emotional distress, mental suffering or psychological injury of any kind except to the extent such disclaimer is prohibited by 46 U.S.C. § 183c(B).

f. In making any arrangements for the care or transportation of any passenger or his or her baggage by any connection or other carrier, railway, vessel, craft, transportation company, tramway, carriage, automobile, aircraft, or otherwise than by the applicable vessel, or by such tenders as are supplied to embark or disembark passengers in or from the same, or in making any arrangements for shore accommodations, victualing, amusement or entertainment for any passenger, or for any other service or facility whatsoever for any passenger otherwise than aboard the vessels, or such tenders as aforesaid, it is understood and agreed that Norwegian is acting solely in the capacity of agent for the party or parties actually providing such care, transportation, accommodation, victualing, amusement, entertainment, service or facility as aforesaid, and that the same are provided subject to the terms appearing in the tickets, vouchers, or notices for the time being in force of such party or parties, or otherwise imposed by such party or parties. It is further understood and agreed that Norwegian is not to be, or to be held liable for the acts, neglect, default, or omission of any party whomsoever in respect of any events, matters, or things, whatsoever, or wheresoever, elsewhere than aboard the vessel, or such tenders as are supplied at the sole expense of Norwegian for the purpose of embarking or disembarking passengers in or from such vessel.

g. Norwegian reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these terms and conditions at any time at Norwegian's discretion.

h. These terms are effective until terminated by Norwegian, for any reason, or without notice. Upon termination, you must destroy all materials obtained from Norwegian and all copies of hereof, whether made under these terms and conditions or otherwise.
